"Don't worry about it." the Doctor assured, flagging the waiter for once more to cover the bill. He wasn't going to ask for the Master to cover anything. He had no problem with all of that one.

"Come on, then. I'll give you a lift back and I'll see you tomorrow. Not like it's out of the way. You should consider that planet, though. It isn't a pity thing. I just figure that you'll enjoy it more." the Doctor assured as he headed for the car.

"Yeah well I think Utopia is a good name," the Master remarked with a small shrug, he was happy to take the credit but frankly, he didn't know what to do with the grant when it came to work.

Maybe improve the telescope? Well, he'd think on it tonight.. "I'll get back to you tomorrow with my decision, promise," the Master offered with a small smile as he got into the Doctors car.

That was agreeable enough. "Alright. I'll do that then. Tomorrow you can give me your answer. No real pressure, mind." the Doctor assured as he got in himself, getting settled in and starting back to the lab. This had been...Nice.

"We should do this again sometime. I mean...If you want to, that is. I don't know." the Doctor murmured as he came up to the lab. What? It was a valid suggestion...Right?

"I'm sure we will," the Master assured as he looked out the window. The Doctor wasn't assertive but the Master was. If he wanted to do something then he'd do something. And he wanted to see the Doctor.

As they pulled up by the lab, the Master ruffled his hair before offering the Doctor a small nod. "Thanks-- I mean, you have no idea how horrible my day was," And now? He felt so much better.

Making a soft sound of protest, the Doctor absently fixed his hair and shrugged. "I can imagine. Just relax and remember that it will get better and call anytime after ten in the morning and before midnight if you need to talk." he said lightly.

This had been strangely pleasant. It was nice to make a friend. He waited until the Master had gotten into his car to leave himself. Yeah. This was definitely a good night.

"Remember, try to be assertive," the Master mocked playfully before slipping out the car and heading to his own. Once inside, he sighed and headed off down the road to Vericas.

From one good thing to one bad thing. Getting up, he headed to the door and knocked loudly in the hopes Koschei was ready to go.

Koschei was beyond ready to go. The Master didn't even need to finish knocking with how quick the kid stormed out, heading for the car. No. The evening hadn't gone well. But no matter.

Sighing, Verica moved to the door, offering a small smile. "I had him watching a film, I hope you don't mind. Epsilon was in a bit of a mood when I told him he would be staying at the academy." she apologized.

"Thanks for keeping him amused," the Master offered before sighing and jogging after the boy. Back to the same old song and dance. Getting into the car, he turned his head and gave Koschei a look.

Well, he asked to go. "Didn't go well, huh? I'm sorry," the Master offered as he started up the car and took off. Well, it had been a nice night as long as it lasted anyway.

"'M fine." Koschei mumbled softly, rolling his eyes a bit. It wasn't exactly fair, but...It was fine. And he was sure of that one. "Epsilon is being sent away over break." he chirped. Alright. He hadn't had anything to do with that.

That didn't make it any less satisfying. Because Verica was apparently finished with the poor kid and this had been the final straw. Koschei took sadistic pleasure out of that one.

Yep, his son was mental. That happy chirp said it all. "Right, well, I suppose you and Epsilon won't be befriending one another for a while then," the Master remarked with a small sigh in his tone.

As they drove home, the Master didn't say much. He was left a little off put by all of this, he wanted the boy to be happy but the way he found happiness was horribly unsettling at times.

Now, normally, Koschei wouldn't be bothering with this and he wouldn't be happy. But really? Epsilon had screwed him over and took him for granted. Now the kid was being sent away to some sort of reform school. Epsilon would come back with the new term and go from there.

And Koschei? Well, he doubted that Epsilon would be so vicious then. Not with knowing what could happen from there. He got out upon reaching the house and started in with a smile. He couldn't complain about this.

"Okay, lets just turn in and get some rest. Tomorrows a busy day," the Master remarked, that and he was pretty shattered. He just wanted to go to bed and forget about Epsilon.

The kid screwed Koschei over, the Master hated to think it bit the little bastard had it coming. He did worry that Koschei would never empathise at this rate... but he couldn't bring himself to be mad at the boy.

k"'Kay." Koschei granted with a small nod. At least Verica had fed him. It meant that the Master didn't need to worry about that. It also meant that Koschei didn't need to know about the Doctor and that his dad went out to eat.

Because he wouldn't have taken that one too well. Instead, Koschei was kind enough to simply turn in for the night, waking early and getting ready for the day without prompting. Because he was going to school. Again.

((Hey, I might not be on a lot for a few days, I have a throat infection so I'm not really online.))

Sadly Koschei got no such lie in. The Master was in his room at 7am, shaking the boy to wake him. "Get up and changed, we have to be at school for 8:30 and you need to get ready."

Yes it was a little early but he figured that Koschei wouldn't get up properly for another half an hour, it was just to motivate the kid to get off his arse and get ready.

(Ouch. I hope that you get better.)

The Master could have waited for a while more to wake him up. No matter. Koschei got up and stretched a bit before he got himself ready. This wasn't too bad. Quite nice, actually.

He could get dressed while half asleep. He could also make it to the kitchen in such a state. Koschei wasn't feeling up to going to that school.

Course getting dressed while half asleep was unproductive and the Master have to rebutton the boys shirt for him with a small amused smile. Koschei was not the best first thing.

"Hey Koschei, kiddo, I packed your lunch and I'll pick you up at 3. We'll have to go to work while I finish up but don't worry, I'll keepyou amused," the Master assured with a playful smile.

Koschei shot a glare at that one. "I don't wanna go." he murmured firmly. Not that he wouldn't go. He knew better than to protest and fight at this point. It wasn't exactly fair, but he knew better.

"I will go. But I don't wanna." he mumbled. Because after a day at that public school again? Yeah. Koschei wasn't looking forward to dealing with the Doctor as well.

"I know but like I said, give it a week or two and then we'll explore other options," he was considering private tutor or home schooling but the issue was simply. He didn't have time and how would he ever socialise?

Not that he really did so much anyway but it was a concern. He had to learn social skills. "Tell you what, you stick it out today and I'll but you a treat," the Master offered with a small shrug.

"Kay...I don't wanna, but I will." he murmured softly. Koschei wasn't looking forward to that one. At all. Especially because he already knew one of the teachers hated him. And it tended to have an effect.

Learning disability and a bitch for a teacher usually meant a poor time. "It's 'kay. Let's just go." Koschei said simply, shrugging as he made his way out for the car.

The Master got into the car and dug into his own bag, pulling out his mobile phone and offering it to Koschei. "My work number is on there, keep that hidden and if your day if that bad, ring me and I'll get you."

The Master remembered that bitch of a teacher and he wasn't going to let his son get bullied by her. No way. Starting up the car, he shot off down the road, determined not to be late.

Koschei took the phone and nodded as he tucked it away. What? He knew already that his day was going to absolutely suck. He wasn't fussing over that one. He was going. But he knew better than to help.

"Bye. See you at three." Koschei said softly as they arrived. He gave his dad a hug before getting out and heading for the building. Great. And now he didn't have Epsilon about to protect him either.

The Master really hoped the boy had a good day. Until then, he took off down the road and headed to work. Once he was in, he headed inside, feeling oddly worried for his son. That place was no good.

Heading into the Doctor office, he gave the other man a serious look. "I'll take the credit for the planet," the grant would be useful and besides, he could use some money behind his work.

The Doctor glanced up at that one and shrugged. Really? Then again, it wasn't much of a surprise when he thought it through. "Here's the paperwork. You just need to fill in your information and sign." he assured lightly.

It was honestly that simple. "Don't worry about a thing. You might be bothered a bit by people and the like, but that's to be expected." the Doctor cautioned lightly.

"Trust me, I've dealt with worse than annoying people," plus the Master always did love attention. Taking the paperwork, he leaned it against the Doctor wall and started filling it in hastily.

It was just easier to do it here. He signed his name before dropping the forms back on the mans desk. "I'm going to go to my office, I'll have to dash at 2.50 to pick up Kosch but I'll be back."

The Doctor signed his own name as a supervisor before nodding lightly. "Don't worry. I leave at noon to bring Marnal around. You are always welcome to bring Koschei about to be distracted." he offered.

And really? He didn't mind. The Doctor simply ducked his head and took to filing the papers for the Master. He'd probably have somebody contacting the poor man by that evening.
