Koschei nodded softly with a small smile. He didn't mind this in the least. It even helped that he would be around the Master's work during the day. It would mean that he could be about and it meant that the Master wouldn't need to worry about the cost of picking him up.

It was definitely the best scenario for them. "I wanna go. I would like it." he assured. Koschei couldn't help that one. It meant that he could get out and about. Who knew? Perhaps he would get better social wise.

((Off to bed early but happy new year!))

"Great," the Master agreed as he settled in his seat and set the sweets down between them so if need be, he could moderate Koschei. Not that he actually thought he'd need to, mind.

Opening his book again, he enjoyed the peaceful moment with his son as the scenery whipped by in their window. "So are you going to give your seahorse toy a name or something?"

{Night! And happy new year to you too!}

Koschei sighed softly and grinned. Yeah. He couldn't complain. "No." he said simply. That would be just a bit too childish. Even if he still slept with a raggedy old bear. He still couldn't explain that one to anybody.

Smiling, he leaned against the window, watching the world pass by. It was nice. He'd always been content with this sort of thing. "It doesn't need a name." Koschei assured softly.

"Shame, I always name stuffed toys. I mean, how else do you know which is which," the Master teased playfully though, ironically, it was true. He always named toys, mostly so he knew what was what.

"But, if you say so then feel free to leave the poor little guy nameless," the Master remarked with a fake look of sadness. Oh Koschei was such a fun kid to play around with.

Koschei shot the man a rather incredulous look. He couldn't be serious. Though the Master's expression showed that to be different. Wow. Go figure. Rolling his eyes, he sat in the seat properly so as to regard his father.

"'Kay. You name it. You want to name it." Koschei settled simply. Yeah. The Maater could figure that one out for himself. Because he wasn't all too fond of doing it himself.

"Emil," the Master named without wavering. He just picked the first random name that came to his head, who really cared? A name was a name when it came to a toy and he was just having fun.

"There we are, you have a named Seahorse. Don't say I don't know how to have fun," the Master teased playfully, he was in a good mood for the first time in a while, it wasn't a wonder why.

Koschei just gave a small shrug at that one. Eh. Why not? He could humor the Master every now and again. The man earned it. Not to mention that the other seemed to be in a decent enough mood as of late.

Humming, Koschei settled in once more to look outside, grinning softly. It had definitely been a better day. One that they could look back on and remember in a positive light.

((Sorry for the delay, got distracted by Treasure Island, always love watching Glenister. Gonna iplayer the new Sherlock soon too!))

And that had been all the Master wanted. He read his book, had a few of Koschei's sweets and mostly just enjoyed the atmosphere. Riding trains was just something that had become soothing. And now he just couldn't help himself in enjoying it.

It soon went dark outside and the lights lit up wonderfully. The Master nodded at the window. "Nice view, eh?"

{Tis fine. Enjoy Sherlock.}

Koschei smiled softly and nodded at that one. It was definitely a nice view. He hadn't expected anything less mind, but it was still more than he had been expecting. Which was definitely saying something.

He settled for the rest of the ride, honestly rather worn out as they neared the end of it. He wouldn't be able to stay up too late, coming to settle against the Master's side a bit as they started to get closer to their stop. He'd had a busy day. It only made sense that he would be tired.

He was nearly asleep by the time the Master felt the train stop. He did the lad a favour and picked him up, which was impressive when he was also carrying the bag as well but he couldn't expect the boy to walk.

They headed off the train and into the darkness, which was a bit annoying but luckily the Master knew the way to the car like the back of his hands so it was never that big of an issue.

Koschei truly couldn't help but to start dozing off as he was carried, clinging lightly out of nothing more than instinct. What? He couldn't help himself. Not really. Which is why he was content, mumbling a soft thanks under his breath.

He wasn't exactly lively upon being put into the car either, instead just curling up with every intention on sleeping. Koschei even clung to his seahorse the entire time, burying his face into the stuffed toy. He could never make it easy on the Master.

((Took a bit long, friend called me up))

By the time they got home, the Master was sure the boy was asleep. He carried him inside and dropped him on his bed carefully, tugging off his shoes and coat and leaving them at the side of the bed.

Pyjamas seemed like a lost cause so he just tucked the lad in as he was with the seahorse beside him and took off to retrieve his things from the car and get ready for bed himself.

Koschei, by some strange miracle, managed to sleep through the entire night. Which was always saying something for him. Because he wasn't known for sleeping well. Let alone into the late morning. No matter. They had nothing to do.

Waking, Koschei changed and headed downstairs around ten, digging about for some cereal. He didn't want to disturb the Master. Not after the man gave him such a lovely outing the day prior.

{No problem. I've been distracted anyway.}

The Master did wake up around 9 but he was just sitting up in bed, watching TV and letting Koschei have a lovely lie in. He did want to sleep longer but the fatal flaw was his body was trained to be up early.

He gave it till 10.45 before he got up properly, dressed and headed into Koschei's room to see how the boy was. "You up yet Kosch?"

Koschei glanced up from the stained glass pattern he was making and shrugged. "Morning. I ate cereal." he informed lightly, sitting up properly on his floor and offering a small smile. He really was an independent one.

Cocking his head, he gave a bit of a shrug. "My rat's running about." he added. In other words? Be careful of the door so that the critter didn't try and make any sort of escape. Neither of them needed that.

The Master nodded and offered a smile. "Hey, I'm gonna be in my room so whenever you need me," he reminded him before shutting the door to stop the rat from coming out and getting lost.

The Master spent his time with Sigma, giving him a walk before the two of them lay on the Masters bed while he typed away on the database he was making for when he went back to work.

Koschei nodded to show he understood before he went back to his task. He spent the next few hours making his stained glass and decorating their window with the peel off design, grinning proudly. It had turned out relatively well, if not a bit odd, the picture of a cabin he'd never been to.

With that, he headed to the Master's room, climbing onto the bed to pet Sigma. "'M finished." he informed lightly. In other words? He had nothing else to do now.

"Are you now?2 the Master said with an hint of amusement in his tone. Sigma turned his head and locked Koschei's face to show he was happy to have the boy with them and the Master swiftly saved his work.

Sitting up, he sighed contently and looked around the room. "We could watch a film or we could ... play something? I dunno, any games you fancy?" the Master asked, letting the boy chose.

Koschei rubbed the dog's fur idly, grinning in a bright manner. He did love animals. It was one of his more endearing traits. Not to mention genuine. Everybody needed the occasional positive.

"We can watch something...Horror?" Koschei asked hopefully. He did enjoy the odd scary film or gory read. Then again, that probably didn't help his mental standing in the least.

"As you are only 7, we're not watching any horror high than a 15," the Master asserted like it was a good thing but honestly, that wasn't any better. The Master liked horror and gore so he was bias.

To him, it wouldn't impact anyone to let a boy like some horror. Pulling out a few DVD's he had on the side, he took out the ones that were overly violent and offered the choice. Yep, wasn't he just the best parents ever? ... Well, no.

Koschei cocked his head and grinned. "I'll take it!" he declared, getting settled against the pillows at the head of the bed, tugging Sigma to him. The dog definitely had a tendency to humor him in exchange of petting.

He hummed softly, stroking the pup's fur in a rather absent manner. This wasn't so bad. He liked scary flicks. It's why he was so quick to settle in and watch.

Sigma loved any affection and would often nuzzle Koschei when he wanted attention, like now. But he was also happy to settle as the boy watched the film. The Master sat beside him, just to keep an eye on him.

Mostly, he fiddled around on his laptop and did the odd bit of work in between watching. It was a good film.

By the end of the film, Koschei was properly engrossed, snapping out of it with the rolling credits. Yeah. That needed to be worked on. But no matter. He instead turned his focus to his father with an expectant look.

"'M hungry now." Koschei informed simply. What? They were both up and the Master was just fiddling on the laptop. The other had plenty of time to cook for him.

"Sure, lets see what there is," the answer was nothing. Really, he hadn't been shopping in two weeks and they had flour, frozen peas and teabags. Yep, he'd have to do the bloody shopping tomorrow then.

"I'll have to order take out. Pizza?" It wasn't healthy but better than eating flour and peas.

Koschei shot the other a look that gave away just how he felt about that. Mainly because the Master had obviously forgotten to go shopping. Again. The man really wasn't any good at that.

"Pizza is good." he conceded with a shrug. At least he liked the stuff. And it wasn't as though the Master could really cook anyway.
